About us

Emily graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in allied health sciences and anthropology. After college, she started her career in dentistry as a sterilization assistant where her interest and love grew! She began working alongside Dr. Aminlari in 2017 as her assistant where she continued to learn and thrive!

Emily enjoys interacting and getting to know her patients. She strives to create a calm and comforting environment for each and every patient. Her hopes are that they leave the office having had a wonderful experience to tell their friends and family about!

When Emily is not at Bright Dentistry, she enjoys being home with her husband, daughter, Briar, and their three fur babies. Emily loves to cook, try new restaurants, and hang out with friends and family.

Rachel graduated from Kellogg Community College's Dental Hygiene program in 2005. She’s been in the dental field ever since! She lives in Howell with her husband, Jason, and son, Elias, her dog, Titan, and cat mama, Kitty. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and creating a relaxed personal experience for all her patients! In her free time, Rachel enjoys kayaking, riding on her husband's motorcycle, watching her son play football and basketball, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Shannon graduated in 1997 from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. Shannon is well versed in all aspects of dentistry–while studying hygiene she worked as a dental assistant and front receptionist. She has spent many years practicing hygiene and still loves coming to work! Her favorite part of the job is getting to know the  patients and educating them on everything related to dentistry.

Shannon has been married for 25 years to her husband Gregg and they have a 24 year old son that lives in Grand Rapids. Their family can often be found racing sailboats on Lake Huron. She also enjoys walking with friends and going to exercise classes.

Jessica is a graduate from Mott Community College. She graduated in 2008 with an associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She just surpassed 15 years in the business! Her #1 goal is to make each and  every patient feel as comfortable as possible. She does her best to ensure that her patients have a positive experience and want to come back regularly. Jess takes personal interest in her patients so that she can build trust and establish a relationship. Jessica finds it rewarding watching a patient walk out with a smile due to an enjoyable experience.

She lives in Hartland with her partner Rob, son Roman and their cat C.C. In her free time she enjoys riding on their boat, swimming, hiking, gardening and–of course–spending time with friends and family.

Kennedy graduated from the University of Toledo in 2021 with a degree in Public Health with an emphasis on Pre-Med. This is her first dental office! Her favorite part of working in dentistry is restoring a patient's smile and seeing their confidence grow. It is also rewarding to help relieve any discomfort so that patients can go back to feeling great again! In her free time Kennedy likes to read, listen to music, be outdoors, and hang out with her puppy. She is an avid baker and can often be found in the kitchen making something sweet!
